Produced using carefully selected koji mold that brings out the best in color, aroma, and flavor. It is not pasteurized (heat sterilized) or diluted, so it is a rich, sweet, sweet sake that you would never guess is sugar-free. It is sugar-free, non-alcoholic, and made with domestic ingredients. It is a diluted type, so it can be used not only for drinking, but also as a sugar substitute or in a variety of other ways. Perfect as a reward for yourself or as a gift.
Make your own original koji at home. We sell seed koji, which is used by brewing companies and recognized by professionals, in sizes that are easy to make at home. It's up to you how you arrange the koji you make, as well as whether you want to make seasonings such as miso or soy sauce from koji. We also carry the industry's first "black koji mold" for home use.
For those who want to use koji casually, we also offer convenient frozen and dried koji. All koji is made using 100 % domestic ingredients. Fresh koji is frozen immediately after it is made to ensure that the original flavor of the koji is not lost. Simple chronology
This is a permission seal given by the 13th Shogun, Ashikaga Shogun, during the Muromachi period. When the company started its seed koji business, the wooden block was used to stamp the bags containing the seed koji and sell them as a license, which led to the company being called "Kuroban" (black seal), a nickname that is still loved by sake brewers all over the country today.
