The Koji test begins!

Bioc Co., Ltd., a group company of Kojiya Sanzaemon Co., Ltd., has teamed up with ABC Style Co., Ltd. , a group of food experts, to launch a koji test!

The Koji Examination aims to help consumers become more familiar with koji, gain correct knowledge, and enjoy a richer, more enjoyable diet.

[Koji test level setting]

The Koji Certification Examination will be conducted at three levels: Level 3 for consumers, Level 2 for those looking to advance their careers in the food industry using fermentation, and Level 1 for professionals.
This will be the first time that the Level 3 exam will be conducted using CBT (Computer Based Test), with Levels 2 and 1 planned to be conducted in the future.

[First Koji Certification Examination Information]

Test level: Level 3 *Levels 2 and 1 will be released in 2025 and onwards Application period: Monday, April 15, 2024 to Sunday, May 19, 2024
Examination period: Saturday, May 11, 2024 to Friday, May 24, 2024
The exam is administered by computer at testing centers across the country.
Examination fee: 6,600 yen (tax included)
Certification registration fee: 3,300 yen (tax included)
Those who register and pass the exam will receive benefits such as a certificate of passing, a pin badge with the Koji Examination logo, the right to participate in a Koji seminar, and a discount coupon that can be used at the Kojiya Sanzaemon online store.
